A Surgeon had to operate on a little girl. She needed O- blood. The hospital didn't have any in the blood bank, but her twin brother was also O-. The Chief Surgeon explained to him that it was a matter of life and death. The little boy sat quietly for a moment and then said goodbye to his parents. The Surgeon didn't understand why he said goodbye until after they took his blood and he said; 'So when will I die?'. He thought he was giving his life for his sister's. He was ready to die for his sister to live.
''What greater love is there than for a man to lay down his life for his friend?" - Jesus Christ
Most of us have not needed to lay down our lives for anyone, thankfully, but we do have the opportunity, each day, to sacrifice a certain luxury; our food, clothing, money, etc so that perhaps someone who is far less advantaged than us could have a little opportunity at a joyful life.
Many times we turn our faces away and pretend not to notice the suffering multitude around us. Some still procrastinate saying; ''when I'm settled, i'll get around giving to others in need''. Hear what the greatest giver who ever lived says;
''To him who has, will more be given. And to him who has not, will that which he thinketh he has be taken away and given to him who has'' - Jesus Christ
Little wonder the man who always gives seems to always have.
The law of abundance is activated in the life of him who gives,, even when in need.
It is time to give, and the time is NOW!
Here's an opportunity to give;
